Education: Currently pursuing degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Biochemistry
Research Focus: A focus of microfluidics involves developing systems where one can study cellular interactions. By utilizing PDMS devices and a variety of cell lines and viruses, we are able to further understand how these relationships form and operate as a system. These devices provide more control, allowing us to better mimic natural systems.
About Me: I was born and raised in LaCrosse, WI. Although I spent most of my life in Wisconsin, I attended high school in Shanghai China at an international school. Deciding to return to Wisconsin for my undergrad in 2013, I am currently pursuing a double major in Biomedical Engineering and Biochemistry. Hoping to graduate in 2017, I plan to continue my education for a Ph.D. In my free time, I like to play tennis and basketball, try new foods, and stargaze through my telescope.
